Aboriginal Affairs Procurement Policy

Aboriginal Affairs recognises that contributing to improved economic opportunities for Aboriginal people and communities is an important way to achieve OCHRE outcomes. Aboriginal Affairs seeks to be a champion of best practice in procurement from Aboriginal suppliers among NSW government agencies.

The Aboriginal Affairs Procurement Policy Statement sets out how and when Aboriginal Affairs will prefer Aboriginal suppliers, consistent with the DEC Procurement Policy. The Statement includes proactive initiatives that provide opportunities for Aboriginal economic development and improved social outcomes.
