Passing of Uncle Manuel Ebsworth

Uncle Manuel Ebsworth, a Stolen Generations Survivor, activist and Chair of the Kinchela Boys Aboriginal Corporation, sadly passed away in Port Macquarie earlier this week.

I would like to acknowledge Uncle Manuel’s many years of dedication and advocacy on the rights of Stolen Generations survivors and their families. He also provided many years of devoted support to his brothers from Kinchela and their families in locations throughout NSW.

The NSW Government extends our sincere condolences to Uncle Manuel’s family and friends, particularly his Stolen Generations family, the Kinchela brothers.
