Minister for Aboriginal Affairs Sarah Mitchell today welcomed the appointment of Ms Nicole Courtman as Registrar of the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983.
Ms Courtman’s appointment will begin on 3 April 2017 for a period of three years.
“Ms Courtman brings to the Registrar a wealth of experience on a range of Aboriginal and land right issues,” Mrs Mitchell said.
“I congratulate Ms Courtman on her appointment and take this opportunity to thank the outgoing Registrar, Mr Stephen Wright.”
