The NSW Government is conducting the Community Building Partnership program in 2012 to build or upgrade vital community infrastructure for the benefit of local communities throughout the State. The NSW Government will contribute funds for community projects by investing $200,000 in each of the State' 93 electoral districts, with an additional $100,000 for those electorates with relatively higher unemployment. Community organisations and local councils are encouraged to apply for funding to build and improve community facilities in their local area. Applications for funding open on 27 August 2012 and close on 30 October 2012. Successful applications will be announced in March 2013.
