The NSW Government is committed to a 12-month consultation process with Aboriginal communities on their aspirations for a Treaty framework or other formal agreement making process, to be led by three dedicated Commissioners.
Aboriginal businesses are being invited to a special Aboriginal Business Roundtable event in Wagga Wagga on Tuesday 23 April 2024 from 12.30pm to 4.30pm.

This is Aboriginal Affairs' first corporate plan since becoming part of the Office of Communities (OoC) in the NSW Department of Education and Communities (DEC) in April 2011. It summarises our priorities and targets over the two year period, 2012-2014. This plan is aligned with the goals of NSW 2021 Plan, Council of Australian Governments (COAG) National Indigenous Reform Agreement, OoC Corporate Directions 2012-2013 and DEC Strategic Plan 2012-2017.
