How you can be involved

We want to hear from you on what will make a difference in your community and your feedback on Closing the Gap. You can get involved through any of the following.

Get in touch

To contact the NSW Government Aboriginal Affairs Closing the Gap team directly, please email us at nswctg@aboriginalaffairs.nsw.gov.au.

NSW CAPO also have a mailing list that you can sign up to at caposecretariat@alc.org.au or via the NSW CAPO website. By signing up you can stay up to date on the work of NSW CAPO, Closing the Gap, the NSW Implementation Plan and other opportunities to be involved in the self determination of Aboriginal people.

Attend a local community engagement

NSW CAPO lead the first round of community engagements on the NSW Implementation Plan in April 2021. The Community Engagement Report will be available here shortly.

NSW CAPO will lead community engagements around NSW from August-October 2021. These engagements will directly inform what actions we take and focus on for our 2022 Implementation Plan and beyond. The details of the engagements and registration links will be posted here by July. In the meantime, please register your interest to receive details about upcoming engagements here.

Have Your Say online

We will be hosting an online survey which you can use to provide us feedback from wherever you are. The survey is under development and a link will be posted here once ready.
