Nominations for the 2017 NSW Aboriginal Woman of the Year Award have been extended to Tuesday 17 January 2017.
This is the second year that the NSW Government has made this award available, providing an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding contribution that so many Aboriginal women make to their communities.
The Award recognises Aboriginal women in NSW who have excelled in their chosen career, field or passion. These Aboriginal women are exceptional achievers who have promoted economic, cultural or social opportunities for Aboriginal people in NSW.
The criteria questions on the nomination form are:
