Welcome to the Aboriginal Affairs NAIDOC grants page.
This year’s applications for NAIDOC Week funding closed on 27 April 2017 and all applicants have been notified of their application’s outcome.
Congratulations to all successful NAIDOC Week grant applicants.
NAIDOC stands for National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee.
NAIDOC Week is a time to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements and is an opportunity to recognise the contributions that Indigenous Australians make to our country and our society. NAIDOC Week is held in the first full week of July.
This year, NAIDOC Week will be from 2 to 9 July. Many communities in NSW also choose to conduct NAIDOC activities outside of the designated week in July when weather conditions are more comfortable.
The national NAIDOC Theme for 2017 is – ‘Our Languages Matter’.
